Polyurethane wheels offer superior abrasion and tear resistance to rubber and are also non-marking and have higher load bearing capacities. Our lightweight UN Series wheels feature a 95A durometer polyurethane tread bonded to a high-impact polyolefin core. The resulting wheel meets the stringent requirements of clinical environments such as the food industry, laboratories as well as the standard of hygiene required in the catering and cleaning professions. It is also ideal for cart wash operations. The hard polyurethane tread surface makes for an easy rolling wheel that is highly resistant to weather and corrosive environments.
